A modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs
See writer/director Taylor Sheridan's most popular movies and TV series on IMDb, ranked by user rating.. A Landman, at least one who works in the petroleum industry, will act as the middleman between the exploration companies and the landowners. Typically, a landman's job is to negotiate and finalize contracts with landowners with mineral rights to lease those rights to the company they represent Essentially, they manage the land and secure the leases, so they can drill oil and gas.

Like a foreman on a construction site, they build out roads ,living quarters for the workers (man-camp), assemble the excavation machinery and drill the well itself especially in remote locations. They are also, part Fixer, Problem Solver and Facilitator as well.. I love the dialog and the characters.
Give me the finger break
But the fact that the son, who grew up in Texas, knows zero Spanish is ridiculous. Oh and he's never had a "hot" taco? Oh and the daughter is hot as f but they didn't fix her son's teeth?
Pepper, but not authentic Mexican food???
So dumb. They made sure to include Whataburger and Dr. Like I love the premise of the show but the little things that don't add up really take away from it.
It's entertaining but also grinds my gears
Literally everyone who grew up in SoCo, AZ, NM and TX has basic Spanish knowledge. I do love the lady lawyer handling the sexisist pieces of s their ass though.
