Follows his relationship with Elphaba, the future Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda, the Good Witch of the North. The second part of a two-part film adaptation of the Broadway musical. Wicked first announced that it would be split into two films in April 2022, with creator Stephen Schwartz explaining, “The truth is, we tried to do it for a while. into one film (which) we had to cut or remove things that we wanted to include that fans of the show and the story would appreciate. We think it is.” He added, “It was very difficult for us to get through ‘Defying Gravity’ without a break. That song was written specifically for the curtain call, and any scene that followed it without a break felt very anti-climatic.” Appeared in AniMate’s crazy cartoon: Chip n’Dale: A New Legacy (2022).
