I really loved this one!
Narrative
An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; discovering if their relationship survives their wildly different lives and meddling families.. Originally titled "Education", which is also the last word said in the first episode..
It felt natural and harmonic
Romantic comedies always follow the same formula, but this one has a lot of strong points – + I FELT the chemistry between the leads. They played the characters so well!
+ The dialogue and relationships between the characters felt funny, witty and touching in the best possible way
+ In a world that promotes representation, it's the first time I’ve seen a Jewish male love interest. I think it displayed beautiful and inclusive parts of the religion without putting it on a pedestal in any way.
Great writing, great cast, and incredible chemistry made this a binge watch for me, followed by a quick search for "Will there be a season 2?"
