But it turned out to be too slow and boring
Narrative
The movie starts powerfully and then the intrigue starts building. I kept waiting for momentum to build but the director/writer had other things in mind. I thought maybe it is being planned as a slow burner. We were all looking at our watches to see what was slower…movie or the watch. The movie dies with a winper leaving you grossly unsatiated.
What a missed opportunity
The weakness is in the story. Could have been really a unique movie. The movie does not live up to the expectation built by the trailer. The interest was knowing about the cult. And that was never delivered except for one sentence.
